Are these side steps compatible with my vehicle model?

Can I install ORI Side Steps myself, or is professional installation required?

Our range of side steps is incredibly easy to install yourself at home, taking just a bit of time from your day to get them set up. They don’t require drilling, so they won’t compromise the integrity of your vehicle. You can simply clip them on, test them, and they’re ready to go. We also include comprehensive and easy-to-follow instructions for all of our side steps. If you prefer, you can also seek assistance from one of our authorised installers, who can take care of everything for you. 

How do the side steps perform in harsh weather conditions?

We know that Australian drivers love to push their vehicles to their limits, which is why we designed electric side steps that can keep up. They’re rated to perform in all conditions - from searing heat in the outback to icy temperatures in the mountains. We’ve had them tested to ensure they’ll keep on working no matter the terrain you’re in, with their functional range sitting between -40℃ to 80℃. They’re also dustproof and waterproof, coming with a hard-wearing P68K rating. 

What maintenance is required for automatic folding side steps?

The materials we use in our side steps make them exceptionally low maintenance, even with heavy wear and use. They’re built from die-cast aluminium panels that have been anodised and PTFE coated. This makes for not only exceptionally lightweight additions to your truck, but they’re also resistant to rust. Maintenance really only comes down to how clean you want to keep your vehicle. 

Giving them a wash with a standard car cleaner and a soft brush will keep them in top working condition for a long time. If you notice the hinges are getting dirty, giving them a brush out and oiling them where necessary can help while also extending their lifespan. 

Will installing automatic side steps affect my vehicle's warranty?

Due to the plug-and-play nature of the design we used for our ORI range of side steps, it’s unlikely it’ll impact your warranty. If you’re unsure, you can check with us or the manufacturer of your truck to find out more.
