So you’ve got an off-road rig, and you’re pretty stoked with it. But something’s not quite right. The wheel wells need a little extra flair, a little extra pizzazz. There’s an easy way to sort that out - get yourself some Bushwacker fender flares. Upgrade the outside of your truck with a huge style injection, and a bit of practical benefit to match. You can protect your truck from rocks that your tyres flick up, and you can add a bit of extra clearance around your tyres.

Off Road industries has heaps ofBushwacker fender flares for you to choose from. They come in loads of styles to suit loads of different trucks. Take care to think about how much work you want to do when it comes to installation. You can get it done by a professional, or buy yourself. We’re going to give you a short guide on how to choose and install Bushwacker fender flares on your own, if you’re feeling up to the task.

Choosing The Right Bushwacker Fender Flares

Off Road Industries stocks a variety ofBushwacker fender flares. The ones you’re going to choose will depend on the look you’re going for. Do you want something low-key, or something that’s going to stand out? There are Bushwacker fender flares that will make your truck look smooth and sophisticated without adding too much width to your ride. The other side of that coin is a set of extra-wide flares. They’ll give you way more clearance for offroading and flick any bits and pieces your tyres whip up off to the side, which is safer. You can pick the coverage that suits you best. Pocket-style flares are the most popular option. They’re really easy to install and make your truck look stylish as all get-out. You can get them in stainless steel, too. That can give your truck a bold, tough look.

Installation Instructions For Bushwacker Fender Flares

If you’ve got your wits about you, installing the right set of Bushwacker fender flares can be completed in under an hour. Bushwacker fender flares bolt on pretty easily using holes that are factory-built into your truck. Here’s how the process goes down:

  1. Find the factory bolts inside the fender well. Remove them. Make sure you hold onto those bolts in case you need them again.
  2. Use an alcohol based solvent to clean the area where you’re installing the Bushwacker fender flares.
  3. Hold your Bushwacker fender flares up your vehicle to make sure that they’re going to fit properly.
  4. There’s an adhesive backing on the rubber seal of your Bushwacker fender flares. Peel that off and push the sticky side of trim along the flare’s edge. Keep peeling the backing off as you work your way around.
  5. Keep that flare held firmly in place on the fender. Apply a decent amount of pressure. You want to get the seal nice and tight.
  6. Using the screws or clips that came with the Bushwacker fender flares (or the factory bolts you put aside earlier), fasten the new flare into the pre-existing factory holes.
  7. Tighten all the screws and bolts up once you’re done.

Congrats, you’re ready to hit the old dusty trail with your flash newBushwacker fender flares.
